At an early age, Tom Routson discovered that there’s no better drug than laughter. And with this belief, he worked at advertising agencies known largely for their sense humor—such as Goodby, Silverstein & Partners and Fallon—and went on to become an award-winning creative, turned director.
Routson’s exceptional ability to combine modern film sensibilities with laugh-out-loud comedy, as evidenced for Budweiser and Got Milk?, has often received praise in the press and earned him numerous Clios, Cannes Lions, and AICP awards, among others. His spot work is also included in the permanent collection of New York’s Museum of Modern Art.
Routson’s humor is best showcased in campaign spots for DHL, Bud Light, Pennzoil and Allstate.
